Your Journey to be a Better Singer Starts Here

If you’ve been told you can’t sing, we’re here to change that. Anyone with a voice can be a singer with proper vocal coaching.

You may have encountered these common singing myths:

  • “I’m tone deaf” – Only 2% to 5% of the world’s population are medically tone-deaf.
  • “My range is very limited” – Your vocal range depends on your vocal type, and everyone can expand their range.
  • “I don’t like my singing voice” – You can enhance your voice significantly when you understand how it works.

Leave these self-limiting beliefs behind. Our vocal coach will guide you through comprehensive training that teaches you how your voice functions. You’ll learn to use it naturally, powerfully, and effortlessly.

Our vocal lessons are open to individuals of all ages and backgrounds, from kids to adults. Whether you’re looking to pursue a career in music or simply want to improve your singing voice for personal enjoyment, our vocal course for beginners are tailored to meet your specific goals and aspirations.

Our Teaching Methodology

Our voice lessons focus on the “why” and “how” behind each concept. Our vocal coaches believe clear explanations create lasting understanding. This approach empowers students to learn confidently and apply their skills effectively.

At Groove Music School, our vocal instructors don’t simply assign exercises without context. Instead, we begin by thoroughly assessing individual challenges to pinpoint their root causes. This process often involves restoring your voice’s natural state.

We then guide you through essential skills including breathing techniques, tone quality, vocal registers, blending, and articulation. While we follow a structured approach, we customise every session to help achieve your goals in a supportive environment. You’ll see improvement in no time!

Finding the right vocal coach for vocal lessons in Singapore is key to a successful and enjoyable singing experience! Here are some crucial qualities to consider:

    • A great coach should have a strong understanding of vocal anatomy and function. This allows them to tailor exercises and techniques to your unique voice and goals, helping you develop healthy singing habits and avoid strain.
    • Learning to sing takes time and dedication. A supportive coach will celebrate your progress, big or small, and encourage you along the way. Look for someone who is genuinely passionate about helping students find their voice and enjoys the journey with them.
    • The best vocal coaching experiences are filled with joy and fulfillment. Your coach should create a positive, encouraging environment where you feel comfortable exploring your voice. Learning to sing should be a cathartic experience, allowing you to express yourself freely and discover the power of your voice.

Beyond these core qualities, consider factors like:

    • Teaching Style – Some coaches are more direct, while others take a gentler approach. Find a style that resonates with you and helps you learn effectively.
    • Experience – While experience isn’t everything, a seasoned coach can offer valuable insights and guidance when searching for good vocal lessons in Singapore.
    • Reviews – Read online reviews or ask for recommendations to get a sense of a coach’s teaching style and effectiveness.
