An interactive music and movement camp designed for children aged 5 to 8 years old. Held over 3 days from 9am to 2pm daily, this is a drop-off program led by experienced educators who specialise in music.

Over this 3-day camp, children will engage in a series of hands-on music and art activities including building a paper larynx, voice storytelling, rhythm games, creative movement, singing in groups, and art-based sound exploration. They’ll also watch selected short musical cartoons designed to spark imagination and deepen understanding of voice and emotion, followed by related activities where they apply what they’ve observed through singing, movement, or discussion. Each day ends with a reflection circle, helping them process what they’ve learned while building confidence and communication skills.

    Little Songbirds Holiday Camp FAQ

What's the age limit for this camp?

We welcome all kids aged 5 to 8yo. As this is a small group, this allows for flexibility, attention and control of the format.

Absolutely! This holiday camp is meant for kids to explore the world of music and singing, and it’s designed for all learners.

Your child will be immersed in hands-on music exploration through singing, rhythm games, creative storytelling, and art-based activities. We use voice, movement, instruments, and even visual art to help them understand music in a multi-sensory way. They’ll also get to create their own “mini song” using shakers, sounds from nature, and voice.

It’s both fun and intentional. Every activity is designed to develop musical skills (like rhythm, pitch awareness, vocal confidence), creativity, expression, social confidence, and even basic science concepts (like how the voice works). We’re teaching music fundamentals in a way that’s age-appropriate and memorable.

A day includes warm-ups, music games, hands-on creative activities like building a paper larynx, voice-based storytelling, rhythm exploration, music-themed art projects, and group singing. We also include reflective sharing time and even short cartoon viewings tied to the themes we explore afterward.

We focus on the voice, music creativity, and how sound works—something most camps don’t cover. It’s a blend of fun, science, expression, and skill-building all in one. Plus, our group size is kept small (max 5 children) so your child gets the attention they deserve.

Just a water bottle and comfortable clothes. All materials and instruments will be provided.

We understand that schedules can be tricky, especially during the holidays. If your child needs to miss a day or leave early, just let us know in advance. While we can’t offer partial refunds, we’ll do our best to keep them updated and ensure they still benefit from the experience.
